About the Role

As a Mobile Customer Service Representative, you’ll be the face and voice of our company. Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, you will manage the full rental journey for our customers — from the initial welcome to contract closure.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Greeting and assisting customers at the counter and over the phone
• Providing expert advice and actively promoting our rental products and additional services
• Preparing, modifying, and closing rental contracts
• Handling reservations, invoicing, claims, and damage management
• Managing administrative and accounting follow-up for each file
• Contributing to sales prospecting and building customer loyalty

The position involves regular travel to our partner branches in Limoges, Périgueux, Cahors, Figeac, Aurillac, and Bergerac (including Rodez). All travel takes place during working hours using a company vehicle, with meal expenses covered by the employer.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a motivated, detail-oriented team player with strong interpersonal skills and a natural commercial flair. You should be comfortable juggling multiple tasks and staying calm under pressure.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A real commercial mindset and proactive attitude
• English language skills at B1 (Intermediate) level – essential for our international customers
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel)
• Valid Category B driver’s license, held for at least one year
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or rental/car industry is a plus

Contract & Conditions

• Type: Seasonal fixed-term contract (CDD) – starting as soon as possible and running until 30 September 2026
• Working hours: 37 hours per week

Schedule:

• November to March: Monday–Friday 8:30 am–6:05 pm + Saturday mornings and early afternoons
• April onwards: Open 7 days a week, with hours adapted to flight and train arrivals
• Location: Based at 8 avenue Edmond Michelet, Brive-la-Gaillarde (19), with regular travel to other regional branches
• Compensation: €2,000 gross per month + attractive bonuses (performance challenges and on-call duties)

Work Permit Information

This is a seasonal position open to candidates from the European Union/EEA/Switzerland (who benefit from free movement) as well as non-EU nationals.

For non-EU candidates, AVIS Delbos will support the process by providing the necessary employment contract and assisting with the work authorization (autorisation de travail). You will then need to apply for a Seasonal Worker long-stay visa (“visa travailleur saisonnier”) at the French consulate in your country. This permit allows non-EU nationals to work in France for seasonal roles for up to 6 months within any 12-month period and can be renewed under the relevant conditions. Please note that the final decision rests with the French authorities, and we recommend starting the visa process as early as possible once selected.
