Taxi Driver (Full-Time) | Helsinki Metropolitan Area
Are you a professional driver with a commitment to safety and top-tier service? We are looking for two dedicated Taxi Drivers to join our team, serving the Espoo, Helsinki, and Vantaa regions. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a stable monthly salary and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, people-oriented environment.
The Role
Your mission is to ensure every passenger reaches their destination comfortably and on time. As the face of our service, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Expert Navigation: Utilizing GPS tools and local traffic knowledge to choose the most efficient routes.
- Passenger Support: Providing proactive assistance with luggage or mobility aids for those who need extra help.
- Transaction Management: Accurately processing fares via the taxi meter and card terminals.
- Vehicle Care: Ensuring the car remains clean, hygienic, and mechanically sound at all times.
- Professional Conduct: Delivering friendly, high-quality customer service to a diverse range of clients.
Requirements & Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following:
- Licenses: A valid Category B (Car) Driving License and a professional Finnish Taxi Driver’s License (Taksinkuljettajan ajolupa).
- Languages: Proficiency in both Finnish and English to effectively communicate with local and international passengers.
- Background Checks: You must provide criminal record extracts in accordance with Finnish Law (Act 504/2002 and Act 741/2023) for working with children, the elderly, and persons with disabilities.
Work Permit Requirements:
Applicants must have a valid right to work in Finland. If you are a non-EU/EEA citizen, you must hold a residence permit that grants you the right to work as a driver. For more information on work permits and eligibility, please visit the official Finnish Immigration Service (Migri).
Employment Details
- Salary: €2,001 – €2,500 per month.
- Contract: Permanent, Full-time.
- Schedule: Shift work (Travel across Espoo, Helsinki, and Vantaa).
