About the Role

As a Principal Engineer / Software Architect, you will play a strategic leadership role in defining the technical direction of the platform while remaining closely involved in hands-on engineering decisions.
You will work across product, engineering, AI, and data teams to build secure, scalable, and intelligent systems that support global workforce operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural vision and long-term technical strategy for core platform services
• Design highly scalable, resilient, and cloud-native applications
• Drive the adoption of AI and machine learning solutions to improve automation and operational intelligence
• Promote DevSecOps practices and security-first engineering principles
• Support engineering excellence through mentorship, technical leadership, and collaboration
• Guide teams in building reliable backend systems using modern technologies and frameworks
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance software solutions
• This role combines technical depth, innovation, and leadership within a fast-moving remote-first environment.

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong expertise in system architecture and distributed systems design
• Experience integrating or deploying AI/ML models into production environments
• Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
• Experience with Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation tooling
• Strong backend development experience with Java or Python
