The Opportunity

Terra One is seeking an ambitious Account Manager – B2B Energy Solutions to support the growth of its commercial partnerships in the renewable energy sector.

In this role, you will manage inbound business opportunities, develop strategic relationships with renewable asset owners, and guide commercial discussions from lead qualification through contract negotiation and signed Letters of Intent (LOIs).

You will work closely with technical, commercial, and trading teams to create tailored energy solutions involving battery storage, co-location projects, and direct marketing agreements.

This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy combining business development, relationship management, and clean energy innovation within a high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Account Management

  • Manage and convert B2B sales opportunities from initial contact through signed agreements
    Engage with independent power producers (IPPs), renewable asset owners, and energy cooperatives
    Identify and qualify renewable energy projects, particularly assets above 10 MW capacity
    Build and maintain long-term commercial relationships with strategic accounts

Commercial Strategy & Negotiation

  • Lead discussions related to co-location battery projects and direct energy marketing solutions
    Structure customized commercial proposals based on client requirements and project feasibility
    Negotiate contracts, commercial terms, and partnership agreements
    Communicate the business value of Terra One’s storage and trading solutions using performance and revenue models

Collaboration & Market Expansion

  • Coordinate closely with internal engineering, trading, and project teams
    Maintain accurate CRM records and support forecasting activities
    Identify upselling opportunities across additional renewable assets and energy portfolios
    Support the expansion of renewable infrastructure partnerships across European markets

Candidate Profile

Required Experience

  • 2–3+ years of B2B sales or account management experience within renewable energy, infrastructure, or related sectors
    Experience negotiating commercial contracts and managing complex customer discussions
    Understanding of renewable energy economics, especially within solar, wind, or utility-scale projects
    Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
    Fluent German (C1 level or higher) and strong English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with direct energy marketing or power trading
    Knowledge of battery energy storage systems (BESS) or hybrid renewable projects
    Background in utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) or wind energy environments
    Familiarity with renewable energy market structures and commercial operations
