Role Summary

Visa is hiring a Senior Director, Account Executive to lead a high-value strategic partnership with one of its major European financial institution clients. The role focuses on Corporate Banking and Small & Medium Business (SMB) payment solutions, including commercial card products, cross-border money movement, and value-added financial services.

This position carries full ownership of the client relationship strategy, revenue growth agenda, and long-term commercial development across multiple business lines.

It is a senior leadership role requiring strong executive presence, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence complex stakeholder environments.

Core Responsibilities

Strategic Account Leadership

  • Own Visa’s end-to-end relationship with senior stakeholders in Corporate and Business Banking
    Define and execute multi-year strategic account plans aligned with revenue and growth objectives
    Serve as a trusted advisor to client executives on payments transformation and commercial strategy

Commercial Growth & Sales Execution

  • Identify, develop, and close complex enterprise-level opportunities across Corporate and SMB payment solutions
    Lead negotiations, commercial structuring, and governance for large-scale deals
    Drive expansion of Visa’s payment products including commercial cards and money movement solutions

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery across product, finance, legal, compliance, marketing, and operations teams
    Act as the central connector between Visa and the client organisation
    Ensure seamless execution of integrated client solutions across regions and business units

Revenue & Performance Management

  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management and forecasting processes
    Prioritise opportunities based on strategic and financial impact
    Ensure consistent delivery against revenue targets and growth KPIs

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a small team of Account Managers supporting Corporate and SMB segments
    Mentor and coach team members to build capability and performance excellence

Required Experience

Professional Background

  • Extensive experience managing large enterprise or financial institution relationships
    Strong background in payments, financial services, or enterprise technology sectors
    Proven success in complex B2B sales and account leadership roles

Commercial & Strategic Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships
    Experience managing multi-year client transformation programmes
    Strong negotiation and deal structuring capabilities

Personal Attributes

  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder engagement skills
    Ability to operate effectively in complex, matrixed organisations
    High level of commercial judgment and prioritisation capability
    Strong analytical ability to convert insights into executive-level strategy

Working Model
