Senior Engineer (CSA) – Dublin
Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer (CSA) to join our Life Science team in Dublin. In this role, you will lead the engineering function on your project, working closely with your line manager and providing engineering leadership across all aspects of delivery. You will set strategies for engineering set-out, onsite control, and quality management, while supporting and guiding Engineers, Assistant Engineers, and the wider supply chain. You will be the main point of reference for QA, record-keeping, and production, ensuring that all Sisk Quality procedures are fully implemented and maintained. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing Temporary Works Coordination and, when required, lifting operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Engineering Project team effectively
- Understand project tolerances and analyse interface details to identify and mitigate potential issues
- Oversee quality control for construction packages, including the development and review of Inspection & Test Plans
- Demonstrate advanced technical knowledge in key packages, such as concrete, drainage, external works, steelwork, flooring, facades, and cleanrooms
- Maintain a thorough understanding of project specifications and tolerances for structural elements
- Manage all aspects of the Non-Conformance process, ensuring timely resolution and awareness of associated costs
- Apply knowledge of permit systems and ensure compliance
- Prepare and review method statements and risk assessments
- Proactively identify gaps in information and manage RFIs and technical submittals
- Oversee lifting operations (appointed person training desirable)
- Coordinate Temporary Works (TWC/TWS trained preferred)
- Lead site meetings and liaise confidently with clients
- Coordinate design teams to ensure project requirements are met
Experience and Skills Required
- Deep understanding of underground services risks and mitigation measures
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital information platforms (A-Site, Dalux, Viewpoint, etc.)
- Significant experience in design management processes
- Broad technical exposure, particularly within Pharmaceutical CSA and MEP disciplines
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering or similar discipline
- Temporary Works Coordinator training
- Awareness of lifting operations (Appointed Person or A61 CPCS Lifting)
- Scaffold inspection/awareness training
- Familiarity with planning and programming software
- SMSTS/SSSTS Card (UK) or MSIC (Ireland)
