We are currently facilitating a direct placement for one of our prestigious business partners. We are looking for a dedicated Civil Engineer to oversee complex industrial plant projects from design through to execution.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be the technical backbone of large-scale infrastructure projects. Your duties include:
- Engineering & Design: Defining foundation requirements, overseeing CAD modeling for steel structures, and managing building services specifications.
- Planning & Analysis: Creating and auditing structural approval and execution plans. You will conduct rigorous static, dynamic, and geotechnical calculations.
- Project Management: Managing the full lifecycle of construction—from tendering and material selection to site inspection and final documentation.
- Collaboration: Acting as the primary liaison between internal departments, external suppliers, and international clients.
- Compliance: Ensuring all milestones are met regarding budget, timeframe, and rigorous quality standards.
Your Professional Profile
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with a strong technical background:
- Education: A University degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: Proven track record in process plant construction or a similar industrial field.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in statics, geotechnics, and construction management. Proficiency in industry-standard CAD and structural calculation software is essential.
- Communication: Native or C1-level proficiency in both German and English.
- Mobility: A willingness to travel (approximately 20%) for site visits and coordination meetings.
