Supplier Recovery Specialist

About the Opportunity
This is a contract-based role supporting Accenture’s operations, focused on improving supplier warranty recovery processes. You will act as a key technical and operational link between suppliers, internal teams, and dealers—ensuring that warranty claims are properly assessed and costs are recovered wherever applicable.
The role blends technical analysis, stakeholder communication, and process enforcement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and working across multiple teams.
Your Role in Simple Terms
You’ll investigate warranty claims, determine what went wrong, identify who is responsible, and ensure suppliers meet their contractual obligations. At the same time, you’ll contribute to improving product reliability by highlighting recurring issues and trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate high-value warranty claims from both technical and contractual perspectives
Approve, reject, or recover claim costs from suppliers
Interpret supplier agreements and enforce compliance
Handle disputes and claim escalations through internal systems
Conduct failure analysis on parts and components
Produce clear root-cause reports to support recovery decisions
Provide expert-level support to dealers and internal teams
Mentor junior team members on claim evaluation and policies
Use tools such as telematics, diagnostic systems, and part databases to validate failures
Identify patterns in recurring failures and support large-scale recovery initiatives
Participate in supplier negotiations and improvement plans
Tools & Systems You’ll Use
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
Supplier portals for claims and dispute handling
Telematics and diagnostic platforms
Engineering documentation (parts diagrams, specifications)
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Strong computer skills and familiarity with ERP systems
Ability to interpret technical instructions and documentation
Good communication and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience in warranty analysis or audit support
Background in root cause analysis
Exposure to data analytics or reporting tools
Negotiation or supplier management experience
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday
8-hour shifts within 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Eastern Time)
Employment Structure
- This is a contractor position managed by eTeam (employer of record)
Compensation, payroll, and benefits are handled by the supplier
Not eligible for direct Accenture employee benefits
Compensation Overview
Hourly rates vary depending on location and experience, typically ranging between $28 and $52 per hour across different U.S. regions.
