(Senior) Business Development Representative (m/f/d)

About the Role
Xentral is looking for a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to support the early stages of our B2B sales pipeline.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities. You will act as the first point of contact for potential customers and play a key role in building a strong and predictable sales pipeline for the Account Executive team.
You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Partner Management teams in a fast-paced SaaS environment focused on ERP and business automation solutions.

What You Will Do
Lead Generation & Prospecting
You will drive outbound and inbound lead engagement.
- Research and identify relevant target companies and decision-makers
Build structured outreach lists for prospecting campaigns
Prioritise incoming leads based on defined qualification criteria
Manage timely responses across inbound, partner, and outbound channels
Multi-Channel Outreach
You will engage prospects through structured communication strategies.
- Execute outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn
Run multi-step engagement sequences
Initiate first contact and build interest in Xentral’s solutions
Maintain consistent follow-ups to maximise conversion opportunities

Qualification & Discovery Calls
You will conduct structured conversations with potential customers.
- Understand business needs, systems, and operational challenges
Identify stakeholders and decision-making processes
Assess urgency, timing, and fit for Xentral’s platform
Qualify opportunities and schedule meetings for Account Executives
CRM Management & Data Quality
You will ensure strong pipeline hygiene and accurate reporting.
- Work daily in HubSpot or similar CRM systems
Maintain accurate records of outreach and engagement
Document next steps and ensure smooth handover to Sales
Support data-driven decision-making across teams
Market Feedback & Continuous Improvement
You will help improve sales effectiveness through insights.
- Share feedback on messaging and market response
Contribute insights on competitors and customer needs
Support optimisation of outreach strategies
Work with Marketing and Sales to improve conversion performance
What You Bring
Experience
- Experience in B2B sales, lead generation, or outbound prospecting
Background in SaaS, ERP, IT, or process automation is a strong advantage
Understanding of longer B2B sales cycles and multi-stakeholder environments

Communication Skills
- Confident and clear communication in both written and spoken form
Ability to engage senior decision-makers professionally
Strong storytelling and persuasion skills
Sales & Performance Mindset
- Goal-driven and KPI-focused approach
Strong discipline in follow-ups and pipeline management
