ARES Consulting GmbH is looking for a motivated and creative Working Student in Marketing to support its growing Marketing & Communications team in Munich. This is an excellent opportunity for students who want to gain practical experience in B2B marketing, social media management, event coordination, and visual content creation while working in a flexible and collaborative environment.

The role is ideal for students who enjoy combining creativity with organisation and would like to contribute to real marketing projects in a modern consulting company.

Your Role

As part of the marketing team, you will take ownership of selected communication channels and support day-to-day marketing activities. You will help shape the company’s online presence, prepare engaging visual content, and contribute to marketing campaigns and events.

The position offers hands-on experience across multiple marketing disciplines and gives you the opportunity to work closely with internal teams and external freelancers.

Main Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Management

  • Manage and support the company’s LinkedIn channel
    Plan, prepare, and schedule social media posts
    Adapt images, formats, and layouts for online publishing
    Coordinate content releases and posting schedules

Marketing Coordination

  • Collaborate with freelancers and assist with content alignment
    Support internal approval workflows and maintain deadlines
    Organise marketing materials and ensure structured documentation

Event & Trade Fair Support

  • Assist with planning and follow-up activities for events and exhibitions
    Coordinate participant lists, speaker submissions, and event logistics
    Support preparation of promotional materials and giveaways

Design & Visual Content Creation

  • Edit existing Canva and PowerPoint templates
    Design simple graphics, banners, and presentation slides
    Prepare visually appealing marketing materials aligned with company branding

Candidate Profile

ARES Consulting is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic student with a strong interest in marketing and communication.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at a university or college, ideally in Marketing, Media, Communication, Design, or a related field
    Interest in B2B marketing and digital communication
    Organised, independent, and detail-oriented working style
    Good understanding of visual presentation and content design
    Initial experience with Canva or PowerPoint is beneficial
    Strong communication and teamwork skills
    Availability for approximately 15–20 hours per week
    Willingness to work regularly from the Munich office
    Very good German language skills
