About the Role
A globally operating IT organization is seeking dedicated and service-driven IT Support Engineers / Desktop Technicians (m/f/d) to strengthen its workplace IT support team in Hamburg.
In this role, you will act as a key contact for end users, ensuring smooth daily IT operations across a modern, international workplace environment. You will work closely with technical teams to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve IT systems while supporting employees both on-site and remotely.
This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy solving technical problems, interacting with users, and working with modern Microsoft-based infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd level IT support for employees (remote and on-site)
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and basic network issues
Install, configure, and maintain Windows 10/11 client systems and peripherals
Support Microsoft 365 applications and services in daily operations
Manage and maintain Active Directory environments including group policies
Assist with mobile device management (iOS and Android devices)
Document incidents and solutions using ticketing systems
Collaborate with internal IT teams to improve service quality and system stability
Required Profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT Support / Desktop Support roles
Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 environments
Practical experience with Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting
Understanding of Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
Familiarity with hardware diagnostics and software support
Experience using IT ticketing systems
Fluent in both German and English (spoken and written)
Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
