Role Overview

This role sits at the intersection of space technology, government strategy, and high-value enterprise sales. You will be responsible for expanding adoption of next-generation satellite (LEO) connectivity solutions across government, defence, and public-sector ecosystems in Northern Europe.

The position focuses on shaping long-term national and regional communication strategies by engaging senior stakeholders in ministries, defence organisations, and public agencies. Your work will directly contribute to strengthening secure and resilient communications infrastructure for mission-critical operations.

What You Will Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Design and lead strategic go-to-market plans for government and defence customers across Northern Europe
Build and manage relationships with senior decision-makers in defence ministries, public institutions, and regulatory bodies
Position advanced satellite communication systems as essential infrastructure for national resilience and security
Track procurement programmes, regulatory developments, and geopolitical trends influencing defence connectivity markets
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to align technical capabilities with government requirements
Lead complex, long-cycle business development opportunities involving multiple stakeholders and policy considerations
Present strategic proposals and executive briefings to senior government and institutional audiences

What You Need to Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in government sales, defence business development, or strategic technology partnerships
Strong understanding of public-sector procurement and defence ecosystems in Northern Europe
Experience working with institutional stakeholders and multi-agency environments
Familiarity with satellite communications, secure connectivity, telecom infrastructure, or mission-critical systems
Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to operate independently in complex, high-trust, high-security environments
English fluency required; additional Nordic or European languages are an advantage

Why This Role Matters

You will be contributing to infrastructure that supports national security, emergency response, and resilient communication systems. The role combines commercial leadership with real-world impact on how governments maintain secure digital connectivity in an increasingly complex global environment.
